Nearly 200 FDNY firefighters faced a suspicious and raging five-alarm blaze that erupted at a Bronx junkyard Monday.
Flames and smoke from the salvage yard fire could be seen for miles, and the heat was so intense that it burned vehicles that parked nearby, WNBC-TV reports. Investigator told the news outlet that the fact that the fire was sparked on a holiday afternoon made it suspicious.
One firefighter suffered a minor injuring battling the flames. FDNY Fire Response Videos caught raw video of the blaze.
