TX Firefighter Pinned Between Apparatus During Call

A Texas firefighter was injured after he was pinned between two pieces of apparatus during a residential blaze overnight.

Pasadena crews responded to an apartment fire after a man apparently fell asleep while cooking, KPRC-TV reports. During the call, a firefighter became trapped by two department vehicles while setting up an aerial, according to KTRK.

The firefighter was taken to the hospital, and his condition was not known, KPRC added. Crews eventually were able to put out the blaze, which damaged one apartment, and residents were able to safely escape.
