Flames nearly engulfed a Los Angeles firefighter during a call at a commercial building in Sherman Oaks early Tuesday.
Roughly 35 firefighters responded to the blaze at a single-story structure just before 12:30 a.m., KABC-TV reports. Crews were able to extinguish the fire and to keep flames from spreading to nearby buildings.
Raw video from the scene shows the firefighter's turnout gear catch fire as he is working a circular saw. He quickly drops the saw, and his fellow firefighters douse him with water to get the flames out.
The firefighter was uninjured, and there were no injuries reported from the call. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
