A Cleveland firefighter was injured during a fire that tore through an unoccupied house early Thursday.
The fire broke out at about 1:30 a.m. at the empty residence in the city's Mount Pleasant neighborhood, WEWS-TV reports. The department's public information officer told the news outlet that the fire had caused around $10,000 in damage by the time crews were able to put out the flames.
One firefighter suffered a knee injury during the call and was taken to the hospital, the department stated in a social media post.
It has been a busy 36 hours for Cleveland firefighters. Along with Thursday's fire, crews also responded to four structure fires, a car fire and a RV fire Wednesday, according to the department.
