One Dead after Fuel Truck Overturns on MD Highway

Frederick County firefighters used water and foam to battle intense flames after a fuel truck overturned on I-70 near Mount Airy, killing one person.

One person was killed after a fuel truck overturned and burst into flames on an interstate near Mount Airy, MD, on Tuesday afternoon.

Frederick County Fire & Rescue officials said the fiery wreck happened at about 2:30 p.m. and involved only the tanker rig.
