Dec. 8—Firefighters were training multiple lines at the burning, single-story building in the 300 block of Main Street. Three ladder trucks were pouring thousands of gallons of water on the building as crews on the ground did the same in what firefighters call a "surround and drown" fire.
The 3-alarm fire came in just before 9:30 a.m.
Police asked people to avoid the area because part of Main Street and side streets would be closed "for an extended period of time."
No further details were immediately available.
