Former Mrs. Fields Cookie Plant Burns for Hours in Salt Lake City

When Salt Lake City firefighters saw heavy fire coming through the roof, they established a defensive position.

Salt Lake City firefighters spent several hours Thursday battling a four-alarm fire at the former Mrs. Fields cookie plant.

Crews took a defensive attack on the structure that has been vacant for the last six years. 

An aerial operation was initiated as firefighters protected exposures. There were no injuries reported in the fire that remains under investigation, Fox 13 reported.
