Charlotte Fire Department firefighters are battling a 2-alarm fire at a historic school in west Charlotte this morning.
Queen City News reported that just before 8 a.m., CFD announced that they were responding to the Wilmore School on West Boulevard.
Crews arrived to find smoke coming from the roof. Soon after, a second alarm went out.
Queen Cith News also reported that this fire comes a little over two weeks after another 2-alarm fire at the former school that was built in 1925.
