A car crashed through the roof of the VFW hall in Excelsior Springs -- again.

It's the second time in three months that a vehicle has flown off the road and crashed through the roof of the Clay-Ray Veterans Hall, KSHB reported.

The driver self-extricated and walked to an ambulance.

"We got a phone call, and we’re like, 'No, couldn’t happen,'" said Randy Harrington, vice commander at the VFW. "And then we get down here and the car is in the roof, basically the same place as the other one."

The roof had just been repaired from the first incident.
