Explosion at Bucks County, PA, Nursing Home Leaves People Trapped

Reports indicate that people were trapped after an explosion rocked a Bristol Twp. nursing home, which ignited a fire and collapse.

Reports indicate that people are trapped following an explosion that left a Bristol Twp. nursing home with extensive damage.

Firefighters were called to the Silver Lake Nursing Home on Tower Road in Bucks County just after 2 p.m. 

Officials confirmed with 6ABC.com that an explosion and fire happened and a mass casualty incident was declared.

A third alarm was called to the scene and heavy rescue resources from the Philadelphia Fire Department were called to the scene.

Photos on WFMZ.com show firefighters flowing water from a tower ladder on the fire and large sections of walls collapsed.
