Fire Destroys Gaston County, NC, House Linked to NASCAR Driver
A fire at a Gaston County -- owned by the parents of NASCAR driver Denny Hamlin -- left two people injured.
Lucia-Riverbend Fire Department Chief David Toomey told WCNC firefighters encountered heavy fire engulfing the house.
The conditions of the people transported have not been released.
Firefighters, who operated for more than two hours to get the fire under control, experienced water issues due to the location of the house.
The fire is under investigation.
Hamlin has not commented on the fire at his parents' house.
