After battling the Lionshead Fire for 14 hours, the Grizzly Firefighters relaxed with a rendition of "Take Me Out to the Ball Game" with reimagined firefighting-related lyrics.

A group of exhausted wildland firefighters in Oregon put a new twist on a familiar tune as a way to keep up morale, and a video of their sing-a-long has gone viral.

After working 14 hours as part of the effort to contain the Lionshead Fire near Detroit, the Grizzly Firefighters used their downtime to sing their rendition of "Take Me Out to the Ball Game." But instead of celebrating America's pastime, the firefighters cover of the classic ditty comes with new lyrics more suited for their line of work:

"Take me out to the fire/Take me out to the line/Bring me some sawyers and hazel hoes/I don't care if I ever get home."

Theodore Hiner, the crew boss for the 20-member unit, told CNN that the firefighters have been battling the Lionshead Fire for 10 days, and he posted a video of their musical interlude online. The song's reimagined lyrics also hit a little close for Hiner, whose family was forced to evacuate their Sweet Home residence while he was on the frontlines.

"Yes my house was in danger," Hiner, who has been battling wildfires since 1996. "Thankfully, we made it out OK.
