Designed for ease of backpacking and deployment, Key Type II is lightweight, compact, and strong, making it ideal for changing forestry terrain. Type II is built to withstand the rigors of wildland fire fighting and urban interface environments, providing outstanding heat, abrasion, and puncture resistance. The outer jacket is finished with Key’s iconic “Key-Lok” polyurethane-based polymer impregnation, so each length of Type II remains mildew resistant and requires no drying. At the core is Key’s “smooth flow technology” which delivers more water at higher pressures for more effective knockdowns.
