Watch CA Firefighters Battle Raging Saddleridge Fire

Los Angeles and Los Angeles County crews continue to try to contain the wildfire, which has burned more than 8,000 acres and destroyed 17 structures.

Since late last week, Los Angeles and Los Angeles County firefighters have been working to contain the Saddleridge wildfire. As of Tuesday morning, the blaze has burned 8,391 acres and has been 45 percent contained.

One person suffered a heart attack during the wildfire, and three firefighters suffered minor injuries. So far, 17 structures have been destroyed and 77 more damaged.

More than 1,000 firefighters have been dispatched to battle the blaze.
