First arriving companies found a fire in a vacant two-story commercial building approximately 150x50 connected to a vacant four-story commercial building. Crews were hindered by debris in the stairwell and had to make entry into the building's second story via ground ladders.

While crews were working to control the fire, conditions inside the building worsened and an evacuation signal was ordered by C1.

Crews made an aggressive defensive attack on this fire and were able to contain it to the two-story building. Crews worked through the night to bring this fire under control.
