Detroit Firefighters Knock Down Dwelling Fires

On Sunday, July 10 companies from the 8th Battalion responded to the area of E. Robinwood between Packard and Van Dyke for the report of a vacant dwelling on fire.En route to the scene L30 advised Central Office they had heavy smoke in the sky and the first engine would be stretching. Central advised E56 to be prepared to stretch on E. Robinwood.Arriving on the scene, L30 reported two vacant dwellings going throughout. E60 arrived and stretched on the dwellings; E56 arrived and dumped their monitor.

Arriving on the scene, L30 reported two vacant dwellings going throughout. E60 arrived and stretched on the dwellings; E56 arrived and dumped their monitor.

Companies made a quick knock down on both dwellings and worked for almost two hours to bring these fires under control. E46/56/60 L30 S3 and C8 worked at this fire.
