Crash Victim Extricated by New York Crew

At  3:26 p.m. July 1, the Brockport Fire Department responded to a motor vehicle crash possibly involving a tractor-trailer on Brockport-Spencerport Road.

Duty Officer 2C53 reported a multiple wreck involving a dump truck with a person trapped. He requested Mercy Flight.

Deputy Chief 2C23 assumed command and confirmed multiple patients. The trapped victim was extricated in less than 10 minutes. The helicopter was cancelled.

Victims from the other five vehicles were treated and transported to the hospital. One person died while another is in guarded condition.
