A fire broke out around 5:30 p.m. this Saturday on Chauvigny Street on the west side of Terrebonne. Three cottage style homes of recent construction were completely destroyed, and two adjacent homes were damaged.
The rare and violently burning fire was on the rise when firefighters of Bois-des-Filion (which served the area) appeared on the scene in response to a general alarm.
They immediately requested assistance from the office of Terrebonne, which sent two teams to the scene with cars, pumps and truck scale. The cause of the fire was under investigation.
