Fruitland Maryland Responds to Accident with Entrapment

On Monday, July 17, 2006, firefighters from Fruitland Station 3 and Salisbury Station 16 responded to the intersection of North Division Street and Cedar Lane for the personal injury accident.
On Monday, July 17, 2006, firefighters from Fruitland Station 3 and Salisbury Station 16 responded to the intersection of North Division Street and Cedar Lane for the personal injury accident.
Fruitland Chief 3-16 arrived on the scene and confirmed the address along with the entrapment. Rescue Engine 302 and other units arrived and placed their tools into operation along with a handline for protection.
Salisbury Rescue 16 arrived shortly afterwards and assisted Station 3 with the extrication.
The patient was freed in approximately 15 minutes and transported to Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury.
