Firefighters from Howard County, Maryland, Fire Rescue were dispatched to a reported house fire on the 6600 block of Seneca Farm Drive.
Responding units encountered a column of smoke from the area about 8pm on May 21st.
First arriving units found a vacant, two-story dwelling burning at the end of a long driveway. A lengthy supply line was set up as an exterior attack was iniated due to the isolated location of the structure.
The battalion chief in charge held three engine companies and one ladder on the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
