Houston Firefighters Battle Two Alarm Blaze

The fire was reported in Houston, Texas at approximately 11:00PM on March 5th. A first alarm assignment of four engines, two ladder trucks, two district chiefs and safety officer responded.

The fire was reported in Houston, Texas at approximately 11:00PM on March 5th. A first alarm assignment of four engines, two ladder trucks, two district chiefs and safety officer responded.

First in units arrived to find heavy fire showing from a concrete building. A second alarm was requested and a defensive attack was initiated. Master streams from a ladder tower and deck gun in addition to hand lines were used to battle the fire.

There were also numerous exposure buildings which were protected. Approximately 75 firefighters fought the fire for 1.5 hours.
