Massachusetts Ladder Truck Gets Stuck in Sinkhole

Firefighters on Lowell, MA Ladder 3 ran into some problems today when their ladder truck fell into a sink hole. The truck was driving into a parking lot area off Market St. when the ground gave way and the truck fell into a sink hole.

Firefighters had to request assistance from a heavy duty tow truck to lift the truck out of the hole. The truck did sustain some front end damage, but no firefighters were injured during the mishap.
