On Monday, March 27th, for the second time in ten weeks, the same residential structure burned.
Bradford City firefighters were dispatched to a fully involved structure fire at 64 East Avenue at approximately 10pm.
Tower 1 and Engine 2 responded with six firefighters under the command of Acting Captain Larry Visbisky. While en-route, Visbisky requested a second alarm, bringing Fire Chief William McCormack and ten additional off-duty firefighters to the scene with the Chief's Car, paramedic unit and three ambulances.
The Bradford Township Volunteer Fire Department responded to the central fire station for standby with one rescue/pumper and ten firefighters.
City firefighters used three, 1/3" attack lines to extinguish the fire.
Firefighters were on the scene until 1:15 am Tuesday.
The house was destroyed.
On January 13th, an electrical fire heavily damaged the structure.
The house was scheduled to be demolished at the time of the second fire.
