On March 5, 2006 at approximately 9:25 am, Pasco County Fire Rescue units, including E24, E36, R24, R36, B/C 2 , were dispatched to a house fire just outside the city limits on SR 35A and Dixie Avenue.
Captain Tony Hicks (E24) advised a small frame home fully involved as he established Command.
Tanker 32 with 3000 gallons of water was requested for additonal water.
Two 1 3/4" precomments were deployed. As shown in the pictures, heavy fire was showing from all doors and windows upon arrival.
Crews knocked down the fire from the outside before entering to complete extinguishment.
The fire was knocked down quickly. Units remained on the scene to complete overhaul.
There were no reported injuries and the cause has not been announced.
