Jeffersonville, Indiana Fire Department Responds to Historic Downtown Blaze

On, January 11, 2004 at approximately 5 PM the Jeffersonville Fire Department in Indiana responded to a structure fire in it's historic downtown district.

On, January 11, 2004 at approximately 5 PM the Jeffersonville Fire Department in Indiana responded to a structure fire in it's historic downtown district. The smoke was visible from over 12 miles away.

Nearly an entire city block was lost, and over 7 different departments were called to the scene. This fire began at the Horner Novelty Store.

No firefighters or civilians were injured in the incident.
