At approximately 4:45 am, on January 8, 2006, multiple 911 calls reported that a house was on fire in The Woodlands, Texas.
The Woodlands Fire Department responded to the scene to find the structure fully engulfed. Shortly thereafter, a second alarm was called.
Needham Fire Department, Conroe Fire Department and Timberlakes Volunteer Fire Department responded to the second alarm.
After it was determined that the house was not occupied, the decision was made to go into a defensive mode.
An aerial master stream poured large amounts of water on the structure in order to contain the blaze.
Teams of firefighters surrounded the house in order to assure that fire containment was maintained.
The fire was declared under control at approximately 5:55 am.
