Large Wildfire in Nocona, Texas

On January 1, 2006, a large wildfire raced through 5 counties in North Texas and wiped out Ringold and 80 homes.

My neighbors home was also engulfed in flames. A Cat Dozer was used to fight back the flames while building a fireline around our home and pasture of 30 acres.

The daylight photos are of the aftermath in Ringold, Texas, and parts of North Nocona.

The most striking of the day photos are of the now charred Ringold Cemetary.
