The Howard Co. Fire communications center received a report of heavy fire coming out the windows of a house shortly before noon on December 7th. The location given was to the rear of the Terrace Motel in the 6200 block of Washington Blvd.

The first arriving units on the scene reported the driveway was on Montgomery Rd. The house was quickly determined to be unoccupied and vacant. Because of the condition of the structure and the amount of fire damage already a decision was made to not attack the fire.

Units from Elkridge VFD, Baltimore Co. Fire Dept., and Howard Co. Dept. of Fire & Rescue were on the scene. No reports of any injuries at this time. Howard Co. Police and Fire officials are investigating this suspicious fire.
