Units were on scene of this 2 Alarm building fire at the (now vacant) "Up to date Laundry Company" in the 2200 block of Fredrick Ave.
Heavy fire was reported by the first arriving units, prompting an additional alarm. An exterior attack was ordered by command after the size up disclosed an unsafe environment.
The fire was brought under control around midnight. Investigators were on scene. No cause was available at the time of this report.
