Seven Vehicle Accident in Bethlehem Twp., Penn. Required Extrication by Firefighters

Firefighters and medics responded to a motor vehicle accident on Route 22 West, just east of Route 512 in Bethlehem Township, Pennsylvania on Friday, October 31, 2003.

Firefighters and medics responded to a motor vehicle accident on Route 22 West, just east of Route 512 in Bethlehem Township, Pennsylvania on Friday, October 31, 2003.

The accident involved six passenger vehicles and a dump truck.

One female passenger was entrapped in a blue Toyota pick up truck, and was extricated by Hurst rescue tools.

Crews removed the roof of the vehicle for the extrication. Assisting in the extrication were Bethlehem Twp Vol. Fire Co., Nancy Run Fire Co. and Hanover Twp. Vol. Fire Co.

She was freed in approx. 20 minutes from then time of dispatch. The patient was transported by ground to St. Lukes Hospital where she was in stable condition.

A dog also in the pick up truck was DOA.
