West Orange, New Jersey Tackle Structure Fire

On October 24, 2003 West Orange, New Jersey firefighters battled a mid-afternoon structure fire.

The fire started in the garage of an attached townhouse and was fed by a broken natural gas line.

Aggressive interior operations contained the fire mostly to the unit of origin. There was smoke and water damage in an adjoining unit.

The West Orange Fire Dept. was assisted by Orange, Montclair, Millburn, and South Orange Fire Departments.
