Lake Forest, Illinois Fire Department Car Accident with Extrication

Lake Forest Firefighters were called to I-94 S/B on the on ramp from route 60 for a one car accident.

Newport Fire Departments Chief was driving by when he found this accident and stopped to see if he can help.

First units found a car into a pole with major side impact damage and an unresponsive driver.

Command requested a squad from Lincolnshire Riverwoods to help set up a landing zone for the flight for life that was requested to transport the injured driver to Lutheran General Hospital Trauma Center in Park Ridge.

Firefighters from Lincolnshire Riverwoods, Lake Forest, and Libertyville were all out at the scene to help free this man.
