Eau Claire, Wisconsin firefighters battled this fire in late September. The fire was in a two story, wood-frame, balloon construction home. The dispatch reported a basement fire and the first due company had fire in the upper floor.
Eau Claire is served by 88 full time fire fighters from IAFF Local 487 and protects approx. 61,000 people with six fire stations and paramedic fire-based EMS service.
