On the early morning of October 28, 2005, units from Savage and the surrounding area were alerted for a reported building fire, with the Howard County Police on the scene.
The first arriving unit, Volunteer Chief 6A (Norman Wines), arrived to find smoke showing from the building, as well as a report of a person unaccounted for, possibly trapped.
No one was found inside the building, and the fire was declared out approximately 2 hours after the incident began.
No injuries were reported.
