On September 18, 2003, the Natchitoches, Louisiana Fire Department responded to a commercial structure fire and found heavy smoke bellowing from the front of the building.

On September 18, 2003, the Natchitoches, Louisiana Fire Department responded to a commercial structure fire and found heavy smoke bellowing from the front of the building.

Fire originated in an upper storage area and got between old tar and gravel roof and shingle roof and made for a stubborn fire.

Three firefighters were hospitalized for heat-related injuries.
