Gainesville, FL -- At only a few minutes before 5am, Alachua County Fire Rescue units responded to an accident at the 391 mile marker on I-75 southbound.

Upon arrival, emergency personnel discovered that a Cadillac Escalade had plowed into the back of a flatbed tractor trailer hauling tires. Unfortunately, the entire front end of the Escalade was imbedded beneath the rear of the truck and the driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
