Ansonia, Connecticut Structure Fire
At 5:24 pm on Saturday, October 1st, Ansonia, Connecticut Fire Department, Engines 1, 4, Truck 7, and Squad 9 were dispatched to 44 Scotland Street for a structure fire.
Ladder 7 arrived and reported a 2.5 story wood frame with heavy fire showing from the rear of the attic.
Fire soon was then showing out the front window and the skylights.
The fire was knocked down using handlines off of Engine 4.
One firefighter suffered a minor hand injury.
The fire was knocked down in about 15 minutes.
