Coldenham, NY Fire Department Hosts Live Burn Propane Drill

    On Thursday August 7th the Coldenham Fire District hosted a live burn propane drill which was taught by Weaver Gas of Newburgh.

    After a 2 Hour classroom session firefighters from Coldenham led by Chief Mike Pfleger participated in a live burn exercise assisted by firefighters from Pine Bush & Montgomery.

    The burn was held in the rear of the Coldenham Fire Station.

    The Firefighters went through several evolutions of approaching a propane fire with fogstreams and shutting off valves to curtail the flow of propane.
