Rochester, NY Firefighters Tackle Vacant House Fire

On Friday, July 11, 2003 around 9:00 pm Rochester firefighters responded for a structure fire on Portland Avenue.

Rescue 11 arrived with heavy fire showing from the number four side.

The Deputy Chief arrived on the scene and reported a 2 story vacant house fully involved. There were no exposure problems. Units on the scene brought the blaze under control with an exterior attack.
