Philadelphia Firefighters Battle Row Home Fire

The fire broke out in an abandoned row house on the 1800 block of North 7th Street, Philadelphia PA, around 8pm.

The fire took place on Wednesday June 25 2003, in Philadelphia PA. The fire broke out in an abandoned row house on the 1800 block of North 7th Street around 8pm.

The fire was concentrated on the third floor and is being investigated as arson. No suspects or witnesses at this time. The fire was held to one alarm, and no injuries were reported.

Firefighters had to open up the third floor windows which were boarded up using a chainsaw. Once the oxygen hit the fire inside the flames leaped out the windows causing the firefighter to quickly back down the ladder.
