Rochester, New York Firefighters Battle Seven Alarm Factory Blaze

On June 20,2003 around 10:40pm. the Rochester Fire Department responded to a factory fire at an at the intersections of Lyell Ave. and Whitney Streets. The factory was an abandoned building.

First in units encountered heavy fire coming from the building.

Seven alarms were struck for manpower. More than 100 firefighters battled the blaze.

There were no injuries reported.
