Huntertown Fire Department Battles Indiana House Fire

At approximately 4am, Huntertown Fire Department was dispatched to a house fire where the exterior deck was involved.

At approximately 4am, Huntertown Fire Department was dispatched to a house fire where the exterior deck was involved.

Upon arrival, heavy flames could be seen from the back of the house.

Further assesment indicated that the fire was both interior and exterior.

The engine crew advanced up the spiral stairway with an 1-3/4 to the second floor and made the quick attack.

All occupants were accounted for and an additional call was made for manpower to assist.

The investigation was made by the Allen County Fast Team and the cause of the fire doesn't appear to be suspicious.

Assisting Departments included: Washington Township Fire Department, Northeast Fire/EMS, and St. Joe Township Fire Department.
