California Brush Fire

This was the largest in a rash of fires that plagued North Los Angeles County since July 4, 2005.

These photos are of the Los Angeles County Fire Department Tovey incident in Palmdale, California.

Los Angeles County Fire Department (LACoFD) E33 and E131 made a stand on the fire to protect a home.

The fire burned through July 6, 2005. It was contained on July 6, 2005 and burned over 1200 acres.

Along with the many LACoFD resources, LAFD brought in 2 added helicopters, 1 helicopter tender and 2 dozer teams.

This was the largest in a rash of fires that plagued North Los Angeles County since July 4, 2005.

Conditions are hot, dry and the winds are picking up.

Many experts are saying that this is going to be a very long fire season.
