Pennsylvania Two Alarm Blaze

The Reading Fire department was dispatched on Thursday, April 24 and Car 1 arrived first to find fire showing from this 3 story multi occupancy dwelling.

There were reports of people trapped and the fire had a good head start so a second alarm was requested.

The fire originated on the second floor and extended to the third and roof area. One patient was treated by EMS for smoke inhalation.

Reports are that the fire was started by a child playing with a lighter.

Reading's bravest also worked two more second alarm fires before midnight.
