Wis. Firefighters Battle Commercial Business Blaze

  South Shore firefighters were called at approximately 6:30 a.m. on Sat., Feb. 26th to a report of a structure fire at 2121 Ole Davidson Road.Upon arrival firefighters found heavy fire and smoke showing from a commercial structure housing four businesses, and requested a MABAS Box Alarm to the box level.Fire crews fought the blaze for more than three and a half hours before gaining control of the fire, which heavily damaged one business and moderately damaged the three others.

South Shore firefighters were called at approximately 6:30 a.m. on Sat., Feb. 26th to a report of a structure fire at 2121 Ole Davidson Road.

Upon arrival firefighters found heavy fire and smoke showing from a commercial structure housing four businesses, and requested a MABAS Box Alarm to the box level.

Fire crews fought the blaze for more than three and a half hours before gaining control of the fire, which heavily damaged one business and moderately damaged the three others.

One firefighter suffered a minor injury and was transported to a local hospital for treatment. The cause of the fire remains under investigation. The South Shore Fire Department was assisted by the Village of Mt. Pleasant Police Department.
