INDIANAPOLIS -- Flames shot through the roof of a burning apartment building on Indianapolis' north side Thursday afternoon. The blaze broke out at about 2 p.m. at Pickwick Farms, just south of Interstate 465 near Ditch Road, destroying four apartments.

Flames shot through the roof of a burning apartment building on Indianapolis' north side Thursday afternoon.
The blaze broke out at about 2 p.m. at Pickwick Farms, just south of Interstate 465 near Ditch Road, destroying four apartments.
Crews had the blaze under control within 30 minutes. One firefighter suffered a burn to his arm and was transported to Methodist Hospital.
No residents were injured.
Fire officials said they believe the blaze started a balcony. Damage to the building is estimated at $250,000.
