Fire Tackled in Rocky Mount, N.C.
On Sept. 26, at 11:03 a.m., Rocky Mount, N.C. Fire Department received a call to 312 E. Battleboro Ave. in the north end of the city.Crews found heavy smoke conditions pushing from the front entrance and gable vents on the front and rear of the structure.They laid a five-inch supply line and pulled attack lines to the C-D corner for an interior attack. The first ladder company performed vertical ventilation and crews extinguished the fire completely in approximately 45 minutes.
