Washington County, Maryland Crews Respond to Roll Over with Entrapment on I-81

On May 10th, crews from Maugansville Fire Co.13 and Halfway Fire Co.26 responded out with Medic 75-9 from CRS Substation at Maugansville, for a reported vehicle accident with entrapment at the Route 40 interchange with Interstate 81.

Washington County 9-1-1 took the report from Maryland State police who were on the scene reporting the patient entrapped.

Crews from Washington County were started along with MSP Aviation Trooper 3 at 2:24 am.

Crews arrived to find a single vehicle off the roadway on its roof in a gully. The vehicle was located on the East Bound Ramp from Route 40 to Interstate 81 North. Crews arrived on scene to confirm MSP
