On Sept. 7, at 2:32 a.m., a dwelling fire was reported at 6031 Victoria Ave in Pennsauken Township.
Heavy fire was showing from the front of a 2 story single family wood frame dwelling. The all hands box was struck.
Crews secured a water supply and went into operation with a 1 3/4" hand line. The bulk of the fire was knocked on the front porch as crews entered the dwelling to perform searches and check for extension.
Multiple hand lines were placed in operation to bring the fire under control.
A witness stated an arguement took place at the house earlier in the night. One person was seen being taken away from the scene by Police.
The Pennsauken Fire Department and Camden County Fire Marshals have the fire under investigation.
Crews from Pennsauken, Merchantville and Cherry Hill operated on location.
