California Firefighters Respond to Vehicle Accident

At 1720 hours on March 10, 2003, the City of Vista Fire Department responded to a traffic collision involving a passenger vehicle and a transit bus.

At 1720 hours on March 10, 2003, the City of Vista Fire Department responded to a traffic collision involving a passenger vehicle and a transit bus.

The transit bus was struck in the rear by the car at the intersection of Santa Clara and W. Vista Way. The 32 year old Female driver of the car suffered leg and thigh injures and the 19 year old male passenger suffered back pain and chest injuries. One passenger on the bus suffered, a 58 year old male suffered a back injury.

In addition to rescue operations and medical aid, the Vista Fire Department also handled the fluid spill from the damaged bus as a haz-mat incident.
